Bem-vindos!

Since 1990 the Portugal Finland Chamber of Commerce has been a common forum for people and enterprises which have an interest in doing business between Portugal and Finland. The CCLF has acted as a professional and social link for Portuguese and Finnish business representatives. The CCLF is a partner in the Team Finland network together with the Embassy of Finland, Finpro and the Finnish cultural institutions. The CCLF is cooperating closely with other international Chambers in Portugal in order to have the views of the business community heard in then society ..

In 2012 Finpro, the official trade promotion organization of Finland, had to close its office in Lisbon and CCLF is at the moment the only business forum in Portugal where Portuguese and Finnish company representatives can meet and do networking. This new situation, and the current challenges in European economies, call for reactivation of the functions of CCLF and strengthening of its membership.

CCLF welcomes members from all business sectors who want to promote trade economic and investment relations between Portugal and Finland. Some traditional and strong industries of Finland are already represented among the CCLF members (forest based industries like paper and pulp as well as suppliers of related machinery and equipment, telecommunication, medical and engineering). In addition, CCLF sees new business potential between Portugal and Finland is such sectors as environment protection and energy, ICT software development, marine technology, well-being services and tourism, nano- and biotechnology. CCLF would warmly welcome new members from these, and other emerging sectors of industry and will take their increasing role into account in the program of the CCLF.
